When I started speaking several years ago, I had this vision in my head. That one day through hard work, talent and “some luck” I would address a large audience. This past Sunday, FATHER’s Day, the ‘vision’ was realized. Here’s some video footage my son took from the rafters of the Philips Arena.
Testimonial: This has got to be the nicest piece of inspiration I’ve ever received via email; I thought I’d share it with you:
“I just wanted to encourage you to “keep the vision” and stay true to your dreams. In the late 90s I was a huge fan of Les Brown. He was the true motivational speaker. I didn’t think anybody could motivate like he could, then I had a chance to hear you at my husband’s graduation in Detroit and I am convince “we” have been waiting on you!
“Just like LeBron James is the next Michael Jordan, you are the next Les Brown, and “greater works” will you do. I am so excited about what God is going to do through you. In the words of one of the most prolific speakers and ministers of the gospel “T.D. Jakes” –”Get Ready, Get Ready”, and in the words of Joel Osteem, “Favor is upon you”. I will be praying for your success according to Joshua 1: 6-8.”
